More in 2004

Okay, so now you've taken the time to assess where you've been in 2003, you've looked at your successes, lessons learned and perhaps how you might have handled something differently.

The next step is looking at what you wish to create in 2004. This exercise will help.

Use the awareness you derive from the questions in the previous entry to help create closure for 2003 and to help you transition into 2004.

  1. What one change would make the biggest positive difference in your personal or professional life?

  2. What are you willing to change, give up or do differently? (If you aren't willing, that's not your personal truth. In order to change, one must be willing. If you aren't willing, you won't change. Pretty simple. So save yourself frustration and make sure you are willing before you change or try to let go of something.)

  3. If you and a good friend were speaking on December 31st, 2004 what would you tell him/her that you had accomplished the previous year? What are you most proud of being and doing in 2002? (Hint: use this answer as a way of structuring goals and how you use time to reach these goals.)

  4. What are 5 actions you are willing to take the first two weeks of January to get 2004 off to a great start?

  5. What is your vision for yourself? What actions are you willing to take to move towards your vision? (The actions can be small and/or simple. Take enough single daily actions and you will move towards your vision).

  6. If there is something you regret not doing in 2003 and if it is still of importance to you, what do you need to do to not have this regret again, at the end of 2004?

  7. If you accomplished your goals and aspirations in 2003, what would you like to achieve this year? What is the bigger game you want to play in 2004?

  8. What do you want more of in 2004? What do you want less of in 2004?

  9. Notice any themes as you answer these questions?
