Is Coaching For You?
Is this the right time for you for you to invest in coaching?
How coach-able are you?
Ask yourself:
- Are you open and willing to try a new approach to your challenges or goals?
- In addition to discussing the various options available to you with your coach, are you ready to take action in your life? Are you willing to do the fieldwork that the coach suggests?
- Are you willing to make the time commitment involved in scheduling and then keeping coaching appointments? Are you able to be punctual to your coaching calls/appointments?
- During a coaching session can you and will you focus on the coaching without any outside distractions?
- Are you willing to stop or change any self-defeating behaviors that are limiting your success?
- Are you ready to accept responsibility for your actions at all times and do not expect the coach to "fix" you, because you know that you are the only one who can generate results in your life or business?
- Is coaching the appropriate process of change for you? (other more suitable options may be therapy or a twelve-step program)
- Are you able to share with the coach when you feel you may not be getting what you need or expect (as soon as you recognize it) from the coaching process? Are you willing to ask directly for what you need?
- Do you believe that coaching is a worthwhile investment? Are you ready to invest in coaching as a part of your personal and business development?
- Do you have adequate funds to pay for coaching and will not regret or suffer about the fee? Are you ready to not let finances be a barrier to the coaching?
If you answered yes to at least six of these questions and are READY for coaching, contact: lea@creatingstrategies.com for a complimentary half hour introductory session.
